World POI Database

World POI Database: Access a comprehensive list of cities and points of interest that can be viewed and exported to XLS, CSV, KML, and GPX formats

World POI Database is an application that provides a large database of cities and other points of interest such as landmarks, tourist attractions, buildings and other similar locations. You can browse this list offline, as well as export it to various formats, specifically CSV, XLS, GPX, and KML.

The program lets you use the dedicated function to search the list of POIs and offline browsing is possible once you download the data via an Internet connection.

World POI Database enables you to choose between three databases. One of them is a demo and offers a limited selection of locations. The other two databases contain all available cities and other types of points of interest.

It’s also possible to search for specific POIs using the built-in function and optionally filters and POIs in certain regions or countries are sorted in folders. Exporting options allow you to save the data as XLS, CSV, GPX or KML files.
