CCleaner Portable

CCleaner Portable: A no-install version of the popular CCleaner

CCleaner Portable is the same CCleaner application but does not need to be installed. All you have to do is extract the zip file to your chosen folder on a flash drive or you can burn the files to a DVD or CD. When you wish to use the program, just double click the portable.exe file and it will work like CCleaner.

You will need an administrator or power user in order to use the program.

CCleaner Portable Settings:

To change CCleaner Portable Settings you will have to edit the values in the portable.ini file found under section. DebugMode will show the program in the debug window. 0 is to disable and 1 is enabled.

CCleanerPath is the full or relative path to the folder that contains the files for the program.

CCommandLine allows you to add parameters in the command line of the program.

IfInstalled will change the behavior when the program is installed – 0 will backup the program, 1 will run the program, and 2 is an error message.

Command line options are:

/DEBUG will add /DEBUG in the command line.
/AUTO will add /AUTO in the command line.
/REG will register all components and writes the settings to the registry
/UNREG will un-register the component's and removes all entries to the registry
/NOIC will skip checking the installation
/DBG will show the debug window
/FORCE will allow the program to start even with fatal errors

CCleaner Settings will be loading and saving settings to the INI file instead of the registry. This option should never be disabled for the program to work properly.
