PPSSPP
1.17.1PPSSPP: A great emulator for playing and debugging PSP games on your PC desktop
PPSSPP is a PlayStation Portable Emulator that comes with a very impressive library of games and also comes as a debugger for the developers to find and fix bugs. The emulator is pretty fast and it doesn't need extra configurations to go. It allows you to enjoy the PSP games you own, while you can easily transfer them to your PC, and it also helps at finding and fixing bugs in your own projects.
The input format can come in the form of an ISO or CSO, it makes it easy to bundle the game yourself, and all the games that you can download from the PSN store to your PSP device can be easily copied and launched without any extra haggle in the configuration.
The emulator isn't all about playing games, it also comes with a debug menu that offers a bunch of tools (e.g. disassembly utility, GE debugger, or memory view), and is also able to save and load map and SYM files, show debug statistics, etc.
If you do not like the default configurations that the emulator comes with, you go into the settings menu where everything is at your disposal and ready to be customized the way you see fit (e.g. control mapping, display layout editor, rendering, hardware acceleration, texture scaling, rendering resolution, etc.).
It supports external controllers and you can change the controls to your advantage, like mapping and testing out all the buttons, including the analog sticks. It also supports touch-enabled devices.
All in all, PPSSPP is a great emulator for PSP fans that brings a bunch of features and tools to help you play all the PSP games you own on the PC, while also helping you find and fix problems through debugging.
