LuaStudio: A robust programming environment that lets you run and debug Lua scripts, analyze the source code, modify snippets and more

LuaStudio is a powerful programming environment that allows you to run and debug Lua scripts, analyze the source code and edit code lines among other things. In other words, it provides a reliable way to test your apps without having to execute them.

The clean and functional UI is made out of three different panels. One lets you browse the contents of your hard drive to locate the Lua script for your app, and another allows you to access the memory files and symbols.

The third panel located in the middle of the main window lets you analyze and edit the code as needed. What’s more access to a number of reports is available in the lower part of the screen. There you can see information about the output, breakpoints, code definition window, call stack, virtual machines, watch and a results section.

LuaStudio bundles numerous tools for perfecting the code of your application, such as snippets, code indentation, folding and auto-completion. Regarding debugging capabilities, the built-in function lets you clear the script for the apps you’re developing and for Lua scripts used by other applications.
