Kullo: Chat and share files with your friends in a safe manner using this streamlined program

Kullo is a friendly IM desktop client that provides a secure environment where you can chat with other users, send and receive files, as well as save chat logs.

Message encryption is provided, ensuring no unauthorized third-parties will be able to access your conversations. With useful capabilities like file transfer, you can easily attach files then post them along with your message in the common dashboard so the recipients can download them.

You can view all the received files and messages in the dashboard, with options to save them to a folder of your choice via right-click, and double click for item preview.

Kullo comes with a feature called ToDo Mode, which you can use to assign tasks to coworkers and any other users. With ToDo mode enabled, you will see a circle in the title bar of each message which can be marked when the assignment is completed.

Regarding message encryption, the program requires you fill in your username so it can generate a master key, which only you will be able to view and use to access the complete message histories.
