Splash: Enjoy watching HD movies with this compact and stylish video player

Splash is a powerful HD media player that supports most video formats, with a stylish interface and a fast video decoder. The player has a wide array of settings, from defining subtitles and changing fonts to modifying the display format and converting videos with just a few clicks.

Splash supports both hardware accelerated decoding as well as software decoding, for those with less powerful video cards. It also supports lip sync adjustment and allows different sound output modes. While the interface is something familiar and similar to other players, Splash isn't loaded with unnecessary clutter, it's stylish and offers a very pleasing experience.

Another great feature of Splash that we'd wish other players would have natively is the ability to convert between various media formats as well as uploading videos to YouTube directly from the application.

Last but not least, another impressive feature of Splash is its EcoMode feature, that basically uses the hardware decoding to save battery life. This is especially useful when you're watching videos on your laptop a lot and from our tests, with a dedicated Nvidia card, we gained at least 30% more view time vs other players. While the test wasn't done repeatedly to get more consistent results, we still feel it's an excellent feature.
