LangOver: A handy translation tool that lets you use Bing or Google services

As the Internet is full of useful and interesting information, sometimes it may not be available in your own language. For this reason (but not only) it can be very useful to keep a program like LangOver on hand.

You can translate text with LangOver using either Bing or Google. What’s really important is the fact this utility lets you translate any piece of text by simply pressing the hotkey of your choice. Then, the program will automatically paste the translation over your selection and replace it.

While you could get the same translation using Google or Bing online, this implies you open a browser, go to the website and finally copy/paste the text that needs to be translated. LangOver is particularly useful because it offers the same results with the push of a key.

Also, there are several additional features like the option to change the lettercase using a customizable hotkey, and the possibility to reverse text. The latter option is useful for languages that are written from right to left.
