Mind mapping is a useful method of adding information to diagrams as opposed to writing it as text.

Mindomo Desktop is a useful mind-mapping program that lets you store, manage and sort your documents, notes, images, links and websites which you can use to find solution for various problems and see the connections between important concepts.

In the interface of the tool you can easily create new diagrams by adding new topics and subtopics, photos and other media content, URLs, files and other attachments. More customization options are available in the left panel from where you can edit the current topic by adding notes, images, and/or comments. Mindomo Desktop comes with a built-in web browser from where you can browse websites without having to leave the program.

The application lets you change the diagram background color, type, shape and line weight as well as modify the text color and alignment. A number of preset maps are available in the Themes menu and you can use them to quickly create a basic project which you can customize later.

Mindomo Desktop also offers publishing options so you can post your maps on website with options to give access only to certain users.
