WebLog Expert Lite: Analyze website log files and get reports on the selected web pages

WebLog Expert Lite is a free software solution for analysis of website log files and report generation for specific web pages.

This tool installs fast and offers a simple, functional interface with a clean menu bar, a limited number of buttons and a panel in which you can see the created profiles. Because it’s so simple and straightforward, WebLog Expert Lite can be used by all types of users with no prior experience needed.

Should you have problems using the application, you can always use its comprehensive Help documentation. LOG, ZIP, GZ, BZ2 and other commonly used log formats are supported. There’s also a built-in example so you can see how the tool works.

New profiles can be created by specifying a profile name, index page and domain. You’ll have to choose a log using the included file browser. Furthermore, the program enables you to edit, copy and delete profiles, switch between supported languages and create a report via the ‘Analyze’ button. Once the process is complete, the application will automatically open a HTML file in your default web browser showing information like total hits, daily visitors graphs, average page views per day, daily referring sites and top hosts.
