Permission Analyzer is a reliable piece of software that scans your network and combines NTFS permissions with group and user data from the Active Directory (AD).

Locally-stored data can be retrieved to create permission overviews per user or group. It is possible to monitor permissions for whole user groups and be notified if any unwanted permissions are flagged inside the network.

Permission Analyzer can be used to set up directories and LDAP Organizational Units to scan. The database storing the information can be searched in seconds, plus you can add filters for certain members, all members of a group or LDAP OU, folders or permissions.

In the main overview you can access a summary of all found permissions, including the ones of groups or multiple users. Reports can be exported to CSV, HTML or e-mail and they can also be generated via command-line parameters.
