PhotoFlare Community Edition: An open source application that lets you perform basic photo editing

PhotoFlare Community Edition is an open source application designed to let you easily retouch photos using essential editing tools.

You can access most of the program’s features in its main window. The application offers a collection of filters including sharpen, soften, noise as well as color filters such as sepia, normalize, gray scale, black and white, and so on.

There are also several artistic effects you can apply to your images, plus you can adjust contrast, opacity and hue variations.

PhotoFlare Community Edition also allows you to resize, crop, flip and rotate images. Other essential tools such as the spray tool, an eraser and the color picker can be accessed from the Tool pallete.

Another useful feature is the batch editing function that makes it possible to perform basic edits such as resize, adjust brightness, contrast, and/or saturation to multiple images at the same time.
