8GadgetPack: Get back the Windows 7 gadgets and tools on your Windows 8 system

8GadgetPack is an application that allows you to get the Windows 7 gadgets into Windows 8, with 49 of them to choose from.

The program will display a sidebar featuring the gadgets of your choice on the desktop, although it also provides other functions such as a calendar, an agenda where you can add to-do lists, notes and appointments and the option to make a custom panel to access apps, files, folders and URLs.

What’s more, the ‘Chameleon Weather’ tool lets you view the weather forecast, plus you can keep track of the Clipboard contents and re-use any of the clips stored in ther. With 8GadgetPack, you’ll get various gadgets for useful purposes such as monitoring CPU and RAM usage, scheduling alarm clocks, viewing analog clocks for different time zones, a feed reader, a currency converter and much more.

The collection bundles other gadgets such as a Gmail launcher, a Recycle Bin shortcut, Twitter, Google Search bar, network and GPU meters, sticky notes, a YouTube viewer and the list goes on.

The tool works perfectly with Windows versions starting from 8 and has a small memory footprint, requiring only a few system resources to run.
