wxMP3gain is a friendly application that offers simple and easy to use options for normalizing the volume of MP3 files with support for batch operations.

The clean interface enables you to add MP3 files using the tree view, the built-in file browser, or via drag-and-drop. The program will automatically analyze the loaded files and display their current volume, clipping, gain, and tag information. To change the volume you simply need to write in the new value in decibels and apply the new setting.

The list of loaded files can be quickly deleted but you can also remove individual items. Furthermore, wxMP3gain can be set to use APEv2 or ID3v2 tags, automatically lower the gain to not clip audio, overwrite existing files, force re-calculation, use constant gain without performing analysis and more.
