DarkAudacity is a functional piece of software that enables you to process audio samples and mix tracks in a responsive and customizable environment.

The application has a polished interface with straightforward features. Support is enabled for various audio file formats such as FLAC, OGG, WAV, AIFF, AU, FFmpeg-compatible files and other uncompressed formats.

DarkAudacity bundles a rich collection of audio editing and mixing features. You can load mono and stereo tracks, perform standard mixing, generate chirp, noise, pluck, tones, silence, and DRMF tones. Furthermore, tracks can be customized using numerous effects such as normalize, reverse, amplify, equalize, echo, phaser, equalize, fade in, fade out, reverb and more.

There are also tools included for analyzing the contrast, plot spectrum, or detect the beats, sound, and silence.

Compare to Audacity, this tool doesn't just come with a dark theme, it also bundles some additional improvements. The menus have been reordered so the more frequently used functions can be accessed faster.

Also, the Time-Lock button replaced the Sync-Lock option and you can start the recording at any time by holding down the Shift key or automatically, at the end of the track. On top of that, users can pause items that normally wouldn't be possible.
