pdfMachine: Edit and send PDF files via email

pdfMachine is a great tool designed to edit and send PDF files via email and it's great for all types of users, regardless of how much experience they have.

It has a neat and intuitive interface and the PDF files can be loaded into the working environment through the file browser since they didn't add the "drag and drop" feature.

While you can set bookmarks and thumbnails, you can preview document contents in the main application window, use drawing tools (e.g. typewriter text, text box, line with arrowhead) and edit text settings (e.g. font family, size, border, and fill style).

It has an Options panel that you can configure a lot of settings, like, establishing the output file name, set up an automatic backup, adjust printing quality (DPI, JPEG quality), specify the action (e.g. execute the command line), and even apply watermarks.

You can also modify document information (title, subject, author, and keywords), insert digital signatures (certificate, certified documents, time-stamping authority), and attach external files, as well as import hyperlinks.

pdfMachine comes with a help file, runs on a moderate quantity of CPU and system memory, and has a good response time.
