Openfire is a highly secure and powerful RTC server which relies only on the XMPP protocol for instant messaging.

Openfire is extremely easy to configure and manage, as it was designed specifically to provide an elegant, simple but also extendable instant messaging server. After continuous improvements over the course of many months, Openfire now supports clustering. This allows you to run it on multiple machines that serve the same XMPP domain and can be easily enabled from the admin console.

All machines with Openfire Enterprise running on them will automatically meet in between to form a cluster. This ensures the highest level of availability and optimized scalability. Openfire Enterprise also includes SparkWeb, which allows users to connect to the server and use the chat function right from your website.
