TOAD for MySQL is a powerful application that allows you to automate a large variety of database operation, develop SQL code with ease, manage database objects and execute, edit and save queries.

The program also includes a collection of tools for object comparison, extraction and search as well as project management and importing/exporting data to and from MySQL databases. Configuring the application’s settings is a straightforward process, as it offers guidance for that.

TOAD for MySQL lets you select between three built-in layouts – Toad for Oracle, MS Query Analyzer and SQL Navigator – or create a custom layout. You can also choose the application’s grid style, skin and database objects format.

The application enables you to choose the connection type, fill in host and password information and create a category in order to connect to an existing MySQL connection as well as create new ones. The database diagram can be utilized to create a visual representation of an object to identify relationships between tables, resize certain tables, reorganize objects in the diagram and select the depth of relationships.
