HardLink ShellExtension is a piece of software that enables you to easily create both hard and symbolic links from Windows Explorer's right-click menu.

The program makes it possible to view the same file in multiple folders, even though there's just one copy on your hard drive. To create a new hard link, you simply need to right-click a file or folder stored on your computer's drives and select the link source. Next, you will need to navigate to the directory where you want to store the file and drop it there via the same context menu.

HardLink ShellExtension allows you to add files as hard or symbolic links. However, a folder can be dropped as a Junction (soft link), Hardlink Clone, Symbolic Link Clone, Smart Copy, DeLorean Copy, and Smart Mirror. You can perform these actions on both single or multiple files at the same time.

Thanks to drag and drop support, links can be moved and created in a simple manner. It's also worth mentioning the application displays a red icon for the normal files and hard link folders although you can replace the icon and the same customization option is available for symbolic links and junctions.

A newly created hard link can be revoked by reopening the Explorer context menu and canceling the link creation process from there.
