RedNotebook: An intuitive, cross-platform diary and journal software

RedNotebook is an easy to use application that offers a modern and clean layout where you can easily write down notes, ideas, memos with image attachments and URLs as well as schedule your daily tasks.

The streamlined UI offers a built-in calendar to simplify the organization of your daily activities. Users can add text messages for any day of the week with basic editing options such as cut, copy, paste and delete for the selected piece of text.

Also, the application offers options for inserting files and photo attachments, adding links, titles, bulleted lists, lines, line breaks, time and date stamps and custom tags. The embedded information for each day can be viewed by clicking on its date in the calendar.

What’s more, the program provides a search function so you can quickly find journal entries in the database, the option to use the app in full screen mode, an optional spell checker and the possibility to select the default font size.

New journal entries can be created quick and easy using the included templates, although you can also create custom templates if you need to.

RedNotebook lets you backup your notes to an archive, and you can export the journals as a PDF, HTML, TXt or LaTeX file with the option to export only specific information from the database.
