Mozilla Lighting Project is a an extension for Thunderbird and Seamonkey that lets you manage your daily schedules from your Sunbird calendar right within either of these email clients.To install the extension you’ll have to drag and drop it on top of the target application (Thunderbird or Seamonkey) and then it will install. Also, the application will restart to apply the changes. Once the addon finishes installing, an extra panel will appear in the right area of the main window from where you can easily add and edit entries in your calendar.
When creating a new event, users need to enter a location, assign a category and optionally set a start and end date and time, or set it as an All Day Event. You can also schedule the event to repeat daily, weekly, monthly or yearly as well as define your own repetition interval. Before you save the event, you can also add a description.
The tool allows you to add attachments which can be a URL or a file stored on your computer’s hard drive. Moreover, events can be set as private or public and there’s an option to invite participants using various signals.
