Muso
2.7.06Muso: A centralized information repository that lets you interact with your music collection in a unique way
muso is a central information repository with a feature-rich, polished UI for your music collection that lets you browse, filter and sort your albums using a variety of customizable methods. The tool offers an interesting front end to your regular music player, in order to effectively interact with your music collection. It lets you create a comprehensive audio library that can be easily used and provides effortless navigation. There, you can add files or entire folders and sort them using various criteria, such as artist, genre, band, performer, month added, year, composer, duration and so on.
muso offers a simple way to create a music database, but how long it will take you depends on how many folders of music you need to add. After a folder is added to the database, the app will automatically insert and sort the sonds.
In muso you get a general overview of the database where you can see the album, artist name, composer, duration year and rating. The last item is defined by the user – just one of the multiple ways in which you can customize the library. You can also write dynamic tags and edit track information for the same purpose.
Music libraries created in muso are based on albums, not on tracks. For all the music folders added in a certain library you can view thumbnails accompanied by the band name and the album title. If you click on an item you’ll get the entire content of the folder and some useful options like the ability to set tags by mood and scenario. Plus muso can automatically search information online regarding the album, artist and other tags.
