Service Trigger Editor
3.0.8.57Service Trigger Editor: A useful tool that lets you create rules for when various Window services should be started or stopped instead of running permanently
Service Trigger Editor is a small application that lets you easily manage the basic Windows tools that are running in the background by default, by creating custom rules by which they should run and stop.In the simple layout, you can view all the currently installed services in a dedicated panel, while another one displays additional information related to the triggers associated with the background tasks.
Service Trigger Editor can be set to show only services that have triggers and you can also set the interface to show/hide the toolbar and status bar. All running processes have a green circle displayed next to them and the ones that have triggers are marked as well, using a puzzle icon.
To add a trigger, simply select a service from the list and then add a few details to set up the new action. A number of built-in services are very easy to set up, such as when an IP address becomes available, when a machine policy is modified or when a firewall port is opened or closed among others.
Advanced users have the option to manually customize the triggers using the sc triggerinfo command.
