GoodSync: A handy tool for synchronizing and backing up files and folders

GoodSync is a tool that was designed to help you backup and synchronize files, while also being able to perform various actions in batch mode.

The application doesn't come with a very intuitive interface, it may take a bit of time to understand how it works if you're a beginner, and the main window is divided into two parts, each of them dealing with the specified locations.

You will need to select one of the two options available once you run the program, like opting for a backup (which allows the user to modify files in the output directory, includes hidden and system files by default) or a synchronization session (which enables you to change the files on both sides, which excludes files with the aforementioned attributes by default), while also being possible to apply some filters to the synchronization process.

You can also enable the analyzing mode, before proceeding with the synchronization or backup process, and it will give you details about all the future changes, errors, etc.

Besides allowing to backup or synchronize files from the computer, it's also possible to carry out tasks from remote workstations via FTP or SFTP, or any two folders located in GoodSync Connect, Windows Shares, WebDAV, Amazon S3, Google Drive, etc.

GoodSync is a very handy tool when it comes to synchronizing and backing up files and folders while managing to finish the tasks in a reasonable time.
