Autoplot

Autoplot: A lightweight tool that works as a data browser, allowing you to plot data from various sources

Autoplot is an essential Java-based application that enables you to browse and plot data from numerous types of sources, including OpenDAP server, local files and URI history.

It is possible to plot data from URI vap files and use a number of dedicated commands like cdaweb, das2server, inline and pdsppi. On top of that, you can use Autoplot to plot a selected dataset.

The application also lets you plot data from a local file, supporting various formats for the purpose like .fits, .vap, .xls, .gif, .tsds, .cef and others.

A robust collection of customization options are provided, like the ability to define a plot style changing related values, and use the built-in DOM properties editor. In addition, the application can read metadata, various ASCII formats, Excel, OpenDAP, PNG and other formats.
