Bopup Messenger: A friendly IM client that lets you communicate and share files over a LAN connection

Bopup Messenger is an instant messaging application that offers all the functionality you need to communicate over a LAN connection.

It supports file sharing and provides both private and group chat. This type of messenger is typically used in business environments at it allows all employees connected to the local area network to seamlessly communicate.

The plain UI features a menu bar in the upper part of the window, as well as buttons for essential actions like sending messages, transferring files, accessing the history and editing the program’s options. In the main window you can also see your contact list and sent/received messages.

The application lets you create a custom list of quick answers – predefined phrases you use often – as well as a list of away messages, you typically used when you’re not in front of the computer.

Typical messenger features are bundled in Bopup Messenger as well, such as emoticons and editing the font and color of your writing among others. Regarding security, all communications and file transfers are encrypted with advanced algorithms to ensure both your data and conversations remain private and safe.
