LookDisk: A simple tool that lets you quickly search for keywords contained by files and spot duplicate files

Duplicate files can not only occupy a large amount of disk space, but also make it very difficult to manage your file collections. LookDisk is a lightweight utility that can help you find duplicate files by searching for specific keywords included in their contents.

You can set the application to search duplicates in all disk partitions, however you should be the process could take a while, depending on how large these disks are. When the task is complete, it will show the results in the main window, along with information such as the file name, the folder where it is located, the file’s date, size, attributes and date when it was last modified.

Also, the program will show the number of detected duplicate groups, how many files they contain and their total size. With LookDisk you can search duplicate files by their name or content and the application will also scan archive files such as ZIP, RAR, CAB, ARJ and LZH.

What’s more, the application lets you search for specific files or text contained by files, including those located in an archive.
