fman: A dual-pane file manager for Windows, Mac OS and Linux with a practical interface

fman is a functional file manager that provides an alternative to the classic Windows Explorer. Its interface consists of two panes which allow you to view two locations side by side and quickly perform file operations via drag and drop.

Also, fman provides support for community-developed open-source plugins and keyboard shortcuts. Most of fman’s supported actions can be performed only using keyboard commands.

It is possible to perform all basic file operations inside folders and disk drives, as well as opening files in their default applications by double clicking them.

On top of that, the application’s capabilities can be expanded using various community-developed plugins which are available on the developer’s website.
