FileSieve: An intuitive application that lets you organize your files into multiple folders based on an advanced, user-defined set of rules

FileSieve is a friendly piece of software that makes it easy to organize your files into multiple folders using a set of custom rules defined by you.

The app’s context menu provides basic file operations. However, for the sake of efficiency, FileSieve enables you to create custom rules for organizing files, which you can save as profiles for later reuse.

To use FileSieve, you will need to have .NET Framework installed on your PC. You can create a new profile by giving it a name and selecting a list of folders for processing. Then, you will need to choose a destination to which the files can be copied or moved with the option to simulate the operation before actually performing it.

Finally, the program requires you to set up the process rules. You can use various methods such as parent folder rename, attributes, A-Z folder structure and so on. It’s also possible to apply modifiers to refine the list of processed files by changing the extension, name or file path.
