FileCenter is a feature-rich application that makes it easier to manage and sort your files and folders, giving you the possibility to manage your cloud storage as well. The tool lets you sort files in cabinets, search your files contents and edit them, perform adjustments to your image and PDF files and many other useful features.

The multi-tabbed UI cleverly organizes all available features so you can navigate with ease through the options, like the managing center, the inbox, built-in file editors as well as use the search tool. The search function lets you perform searches on your local hard drive using a variety of parameters like custom keywords, dates for creation/modification and file formats. Search results are offered as a list and for each item you can see its name, type and path.

Users can bring up a file preview window in any of the UIs tabs and items can be sent to Word or email directly from FileCenter. Furthermore, PDF documents have a number of related options like viewing them, splitting them into several files, setting up password protection and printing them.

The OCR function offered by the application lets you convert written text from scanned documents into searchable DOC or PDF files. Concerning TIFF and PDF editing, various options are offered in the related tab, which include the possibility to rotate documents, add a digital signature, format the text, grab snapshots, add comments, attach files and so on.

FileCenter’s settings menu lets you choose the number of maximum search results, set up the startup view, change the theme, display item count footers and many other options.
